One of the rarest printed grimoires of its kind. There were only two editions, this one dated 1744 (but more probably end of 18th century) and one in 1788, both in French. The text deals with ceremonial magick, the evocation of spirits, and different secrets.

It relies mainly on works attributed to the famous 16th century mage H.C. Agrippa, adding elements from manuscript grimoires of the time. However the attribution to P.d'Aban is fictitious since he lived one century earlier than Agrippa.
