One of the most famous grimoires ever printed. Like the "Grand Albert", this
"Petit Albert" is spuriously attributed to Albertus Magnus but is probably a
later creation. |
However, unlike the "Grand Albert", the grimoire openly deals in ceremonial black magic, what is almost unique for a book printed before 1800. The text is illustrated by many explicit engravings and tables. Although there were several printings during the 18th Century , that kind of edition has become extremely hard to find and is avidly sought after. |
